During Mazi Travel’s participation in the World Travel Market London (04–07 November 2024), special emphasis was placed on the international promotion and dissemination of the Project XpRience Thess. The XpRience Thess Project is implemented within the framework of the Partnership Agreement (ESPA) 2021–2027 and is co-financed by the European Union and national funds. The Project aims to strengthen innovation, sustainability and international outreach of Thessaloniki’s tourism product through the development of experiential and accessible tourism initiatives.
Within the framework of scheduled B2B meetings held during the exhibition, Mazi Travel presented the philosophy, objectives and key outcomes of the Project to international tour operators, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), educational institutions, MICE planners and thematic tourism specialists.
Particular emphasis was given to the accessibility dimension of the Project. XpRience Thess incorporates principles of inclusive design and aims to ensure equal participation opportunities and improved visitor experiences for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), in full alignment with European regulations and publicity obligations.
During the B2B meetings, informational and promotional material (both digital and printed) was distributed, and targeted discussions were held with tourism professionals from Europe, North America and Asia. Strong interest was expressed in integrating the experiential products developed under XpRience Thess into cultural, educational and thematic travel programmes.

Through its active presence at WTM London 2024, Mazi Travel, as Project Coordinator of XpRience Thess, reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, compliance with publicity requirements under the co-financing framework, and the international promotion of innovative and inclusive tourism development initiatives.
